Read more about our laser cutting
Laser cutting is one of the most effective methods for processing sheet metal, stainless steel and aluminum with high precision. The technology is used to create details with sharp contours and minimal material waste. At RG Mekaniska we work with advanced laser cutting with Bystronic Fiberlaser (10 kW) in sheet metal formats up to 4000x2000 mm and in thicknesses from 0.5 to 30 mm, from single prototypes to series production - fast and precise results.
What does laser cutting mean?
Laser cutting is a processing technique where a laser beam is used to cut through various types of metals. By directing a concentrated beam of light, a precise cut is created without mechanical contact, which reduces the risk of material deformation.
This means minimal tool wear and high detail precision. The technology is particularly effective for complex shapes and thin materials where traditional methods often fail.
Advantages of laser cutting
Our laser cutting produces precise cuts with a clean cut surface, reducing the need for post-processing. The method is also time-efficient and material-smart – we get more out of every sheet. By using fiber laser technology, we can cut quickly in both thin and thick materials without compromising accuracy.
Materials
With our Bystronic Fiber Laser (10 kW) we handle black sheet metal up to 25 mm, stainless steel and aluminum up to 30 mm, and brass and copper up to 15 mm. We can also process sheet metal formats up to 4000×2000 mm, which provides flexibility for both small and large parts.
Order and delivery
From first contact to delivery, we ensure that the process is smooth and clear. We review drawings and material requirements before production begins, ensuring that we meet every specification. Once the laser cutting is complete, a quality check is carried out to ensure that the result meets expectations. The parts are then delivered according to the agreed schedule.
